
Alex Murdaugh takes plea deal to cover mountain of financial crimes

Alex Murdaugh on Friday pleaded guilty to 22 financial crimes in a plea deal that will add 27 years to the two life terms he's already serving for killing his wife and son.

"I plead guilty, Your Honor," Murdaugh replied. He is scheduled to be sentenced to 27.5 years in prison on Nov. 28.
"I agree that I wrongly took all of that money, Your Honor, and did all of those crimes," he added later in the hearing.
