Alec Baldwin ‘Rust’ shooting: Police ‘not exactly sure’ of actor’s ‘whereabouts’ but says he’s cooperating

(Steve Dennett/Mega) However, the home did not appear to currently have any residents, as work was being done on the estate. (Steve Dennett/Mega) It wasn't long after the incident that an assistant was seen packing up Baldwin's family's belongings into a car. (Steve Dennett/Mega) The car was thought to be headed to their estate in the Hamptons. (Mega) The 63-year-old actor was in New Mexico filming ‘Rust' earlier this month. (Mega) During rehearsal last Thursday, Baldwin discharged a firearm the he was told was unloaded on the set. (Mega) A projectile from the gun hit cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and director Joel Souza. (Mega) Hutchins was later pronounced dead, while Souza has since been released from the hospital. (Mega) Baldwin was handed the gun by assistant director Dave Halls, who did not know it was loaded. (Mega) According to a warrant from authorities, the gun was also handled that day by armorer Hannah Gutierrez and crew member Sarah Zachry, who is thought to be the prop master. (Mega) Charges have yet to be filed in the case. (Mega) Baldwin's whereabouts are currently unknown to law enforcement. Director Joel Souza was also injured but has since been sent home from the hospital.
