The Alaska Highway has been reduced to one lane south of Whitehorse after a multi-vehicle collision.
RCMP said in a news release late Wednesday morning that two transport trucks were blocking the road in the Judas Creek area.
Traffic was being re-routed around the area via the Tagish Road and the South Klondike Highway.
The highway was then re-opened early Wednesday afternoon to alternating lanes of traffic.
There are no further details on the collision. RCMP said earlier that more information would be available once police were on the scene.
