A team of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) students won the grant under NIDHI-PRAYAS, a Central scheme that supports innovators in building working prototypes. The proposal was cleared by the DST citing its commercial potential.
Technical experts from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut will mentor the team in developing the product.
The project was developed by Naisa M., Fidha Sareena P.P., Diya Salim M.P., Fatima Faisal, Jafli P., and Muhsina Sharin under the guidance of the college’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, led by Sanal Dev and Nikhila T.
Felicitating the students, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy managing trustee P. Unneen said the achievement reflected the college’s focus on innovation, research and entrepreneurship.
