In the first semi-final, Al Rayyan dominated Al Ahli from the outset, clinching a decisive 101-74 victory. The game saw Al Rayyan assert control across all four quarters, with scores of 28-22, 21-19, 25-18, and 27-15.
Tyler James Lee Harris shone for Al Rayyan, contributing 22 points, while Nigel Armonie Johnson led Al Ahli with an equal 22 points, though it wasn’t enough to halt Al Rayyan’s march to the final.
The second semi-final delivered high drama as Al Sadd edged out Al Arabi in a tightly contested match that went down to the wire.
Al Sadd took an early lead in the first quarter (30-27), but Al Arabi fought back, dominating the second (22-20) and third (19-16) quarters.
