London: Within the framework of the state visit of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to London, the Minister of State for International Cooperation, HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, met today with the Director for Pakistan and Afghanistan at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, HE Andrew McCoubrey.

The meeting dealt with discussing cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to bolster them, as well as the situation in Afghanistan and avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the areas of health, education and humanitarian and development projects within the joint development portfolio between the two countries.
