DOHA: The fourth round of the ninth edition of the Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab got underway at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s outdoor arena yesterday.
The three-day competition opened with the Amateur (100cm) and Bronze (120cm) rounds.
Jaber Rashid Al Amri claimed the top spot in the Bronze event, with Khalid Al Hadi finishing second and third.
In the Amateur category, Ali Omar Al Ansari topped the podium with a time of 26.66 seconds aboard Nikita, followed by Maryam Abdul Karim Abdul on Beyoncé and Khalifa bin Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani on Zion.
In the Bronze individual event, Jaber Rashid Al Amri took first place riding Apollon, clocking 57.05 seconds. Khalid Al Hadi secured second and third place on Capion and Carlton, respectively.
