State of Siege: Temple Attack is based on true events happened in 2002 at Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Akshaye Khanna plays an NSG commando in the film.

The first teaser of State of Siege: Temple Attack is out. The Zee 5 film stars Akshaye Khanna as a National Security Guard (NSG) commando. It marks the actor's digital debut. The film is based on the 2002 terror attack at Akshardham Temple in Gujarat when two terrorists were gunned down by NSG commandos. Directed by Ken Ghosh, the film is premiering on July 9.
