Tamil Nadu leaders express condolences for Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, who died in a tragic flight crash.
Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin condoled the death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who was among those on board a flight that crash-landed in Baramati in Maharashtra on Wednesday (January 28, 2026) morning.
“Deeply shocked and pained by the tragic and untimely demise of Thiru Ajit Pawar and the others in the unfortunate air crash. The loss of Thiru Ajit Pawar in this tragedy is a grave and irreparable one, leaving a void that will be hard to fill,” Lok Bhavan quoted the Governor as saying.
Mr. Stalin, in a social media post, described the incident as “tragic” and said: “The scale of the tragedy is difficult to absorb. I extend my sincere condolences to Thiru. @PawarSpeaks, Tmt. @Supriya_Sule and the families of all those who lost their lives in this terrible accident.”
