Air India sale: Tata Sons, SpiceJet promoter Ajay Singh submit final bids

Tata Sons and SpiceJet promoter Ajay Singh have submitted final bids for acquiring Air India.

The government has moved a step closer to selling Air India as final financial bids for the cash-strapped airline have been submitted on Wednesday. Two parties have submitted bids for acquiring Air India.

Tata Sons is one of the parties that has put in its financial bid for Air India and the development has been confirmed by a company spokesperson.
