Air Force vet identified as Zodiac Killer suspect but FBI didn't act on DNA proof, group claims

A cold case volunteer team claims a man they believe is the Zodiac Killer has also been identified by the FBI as a suspect and they are alleging a law enforcement cover-up.
"The felon has been secretly listed as the Zodiac ‘suspect’ in Headquarters’ computers since 2016," the group wrote in a press release. The FBI has consistently rejected reports and conclusions that the case has been solved and told Fox News Digital in October 2021 that the case was still open.
