Stocks of telecom firms including Vodafone Idea and Tata Teleservices slumped on the stock market after the Supreme Court dismissed a plea for re-computation of adjusted gross revenue (AGR)-related dues. The top court rejected applications filed by Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Tata Teleservices in connection with the matter. All three telcos had sought a recalculation of AGR dues determined by the Department of Telecommunication (DoT), citing mathematical errors.
