Agniveer recruitment rally registration begins in Jammu today

The Agniveer recruitment rally registration process for the Agniveer scheme began today in the Jammu region.
According to officials, registration for Agniveers' Army enlistment in the Jammu region will begin on Friday at this location's Sunjuwan military base.
"Online registration for Army Agniveer recruitment rally starts from 5 August and will close on September 3, 2022, a PRO defence said.
He stated that beginning on October 7, a recruiting rally will be held at Zorawar Stadium, Sunjuwan Military Station, Jammu for candidates from the districts of Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Jammu, Samba, and Kathua.
According to the PRO, the gathering would be held to recruit Agniveers for the Indian Army's Agnipath programme.
Only through the official website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, can candidates submit an online application.
The PRO defence stated that the army recruiting office in Jammu has indicated that the service is free and that selection is fair and solely based on merit.
"No money is required to be paid to anyone. All candidates are advised to stay away from touts (dalals)," he said.
