Against rules, 37.8% 10-year-olds have Facebook accounts, 24.3% on Instagram: NCPCR study

NCPCR found that about 37.8 per cent of children aged 10 years have Facebook accounts, while 24.3 per cent in the same age group are on Instagram, which is seemingly in contravention to the guidelines laid down by the social media platforms.

The age barrier for creating an account on Facebook and Instagram happens to be 13 years.
