After the wettest May on record for some areas, parts of Texas and Louisiana prepare for more flooding

Flood potential remains high as additional heavy rain is forecast this weekend across the coastal regions of Texas and Lousiana. This comes after some of the highest May rainfall totals on record for some locations.
Rainfall totals in Southeast Texas and Coastal Louisiana could exceed 10 inches, creating more misery for regions hit hard by recent flooding. Record May rainfall has left the soil saturated and river levels high, meaning any additional precipitation could trigger more floods.More Related News
