Sumona Chakravarti, who rose to fame with The Kapil Sharma Show, recently took to social media to pen a moving note about battling endometriosis since 2011. After it went viral on the Internet, the actress penned another note today, May 16, informing her fans and followers that she is doing okay now. Sumona also said that the purpose of her post was to spread awareness about this health ailment endometriosis. She added that a lot of people reached out to her after her post and realised how important it is to give it medical attention. Sumona also thanked everyone for their prayers. Sumona Chakravarti took to her Instagram stories and posted a note saying, "The idea was to spread awareness about a health ailment #Endometriosis which is as common as PCOD/diabetes probably. Am glad a lot of young girls, women, doctors, husbands reaching out on behalf of their wives... have responded & realised how important it is to give it the medical attention it needs (sic)."
