Adhere to Covid-19 precautionary measures to avoid penalties: Cabinet

Doha: Qatar Cabinet today held the regular weekly meeting this afternoon through video conferencing and imposed more Covid-19 precautionary measures to control the spread of the pandemic.
The cabinet called on all members of society, citizens and residents, to take responsibility to adhere to the Covid-19 precautionary measures and procedures and to avoid crowded places to maintain their safety and to limit the spread of this pandemic so that none of them are subjected to the penalties stipulated in Decree-Law No. (17) of 1990 regarding the prevention of infectious diseases, amended by law No. (9) of 2020, by imprisonment for a period not exceeding three years and a fine not exceeding QR200,000, or one of these two penalties. Cabinet reimposed restrictions like the closing of salons, nurseries, banning all gatherings other than by 5 vaccinated people in open space, closing of dine-in at restaurants, not allowing kids under-16 inside malls and also reducing attendance in offices to 50 percent.More Related News
