Action against 5 agencies for organising Umrah trips without approval

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has caught five travel agencies that organised Umrah trips without prior approval. Awqaf said in a statement that this is according to the provisions of Law No 3 of 2015 regulating Haj and Umrah services. According to a tweet on Thursday, the Haj and Umrah Department at the ministry initiated the action after the agencies were found to be organising Umrah trips without prior approval and referred them to the competent authorities to take action.
