
Aaron Judge walk-off walk leads Yankees to sweep of White Sox

One streak came to an end Sunday at Yankee Stadium, but two others lived to see another day.
After Aroldis Chapman gave up his first earned run of the year on a game-tying home run in the top of the ninth, the Yankees came back to win it in the bottom of the inning. Aaron Judge’s walk-off walk secured a sixth straight win, 5-4, and a sweep of the White Sox. “The guys weren’t going to be denied,” manager Aaron Boone said.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.
