Aaron Glenn adds former Giants staffer Jon Berger for Jets game management job
NY Post
NEW ORLEANS — Jets coach Aaron Glenn continues to build his staff and he is adding one longtime former Giants employee to it.
Glenn has hired Jon Berger in a game management role, according to sources.
It is unclear what Berger’s exact title will be, but he will be the coach giving Glenn input on decisions like fourth downs, challenges and two-point conversions.
Dan Shamash held this role under former coach Robert Saleh.
Berger worked for the Giants from 1987-2021 in a variety of roles.
He began as an intern and became the team’s computer coordinator in 1987.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.
