A 5-year-old boy in Georgia has died from COVID-19, raising concerns for parents as the Delta variant continues spread throughout the U.S.
Wyatt Gibson died Friday after suffering an extreme case of pneumonia and a stroke, CBS Atlanta affiliate WGCL reports. "Wyatt was nothing [but] joy and happiness," the boy's father Wes Gibson wrote Sunday on Facebook. "We loved having fun and going on adventures together.
