Tribune News NetworkDohaAbout 84.7 percent of the eligible population â 12 years and above â have received both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 93.9 percent have got at least one dose, according to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).In a statement, the MoPH said a total of 4,392,745 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Qatar. As many as 23,161 doses have been administered in the last 24 hours alone.With this, the MoPH said, at least 81.5 percent of the total population have now received at least one dose of the vaccine and 73.5 percent of the total population received both the doses.âIf you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine but have not yet booked your appointment, act now, get vaccinated to protect yourself and your family, and support the return to normal life as soon as possible,â the MoPH said.âWith COVID-19 still a threat to our health in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures such as adherence to physical distancing, avoiding close contact with others, crowded places and confined closed spaces where other people congregate, wearing a face mask, washing hands regularly, and people should take the COVID-19 vaccine at the earliest opportunity when their turn comes,â it added.More Related News
