6th Pay Commission: Himachal govt announces new pay scales for employees

The Himachal Pradesh government has introduced new pay scales for its employees, in accordance with the 6th Pay Commission.  

New Delhi: The Himachal Pradesh government has announced new pay scales as per the 6th Pay Commission for its employees, an official spokesperson said.

It has also reduced the period of contractual employees for their regularisation from three years to two years.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) of the Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation here on Saturday announced new pay scales for the employees of the state government with effect from January 1, 2016.
