5 people injured after van and horse-drawn buggy collide near Drayton, Ont.

Five people were injured near Drayton, Ont., after a collision involving a van and horse-drawn buggy Thursday morning.
Two youths were airlifted to a trauma centre with serious injuries, Wellington County provincial police said in a news release. The driver of the buggy and two other youths were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police said two horses pulling the buggy had to be euthanized due to their injuries.
The driver of the van was not injured.
The collision happened at 8:15 a.m. ET on Eighth Line in Mapleton Township. The road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
