Doha, Qatar: With great enthusiasm and engagement, 41 students from the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Sarajevo are participating in an Arabic language course organised by the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center for non-native speakers.
Two instructors from the center are leading the course, focusing primarily on developing students’ speaking and communication skills, along with other language competencies. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
This marks the second time the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has organised such a course in Sarajevo. The curriculum covers conversation practice, grammar, morphology, and a variety of linguistic skills.
The decision to hold the course followed the success of the first edition, which prompted the Faculty of Islamic Studies to coordinate this new session to help students access Islamic scholarship in its original language.
The faculty administration praised both the course and its textbooks, noting their simplicity, effective methodology, and accessibility for students.
