4,184 Fresh Covid Cases In India, 8.5% Lower Than Yesterday

COVID-19 India: The active cases in the country dipped to 44,488 and the recovery rate improved to 98.70 per cent, said the Union Health Ministry.

India saw a single day rise of 4,184 coronavirus infections taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,29,80,067, while the active cases dipped to 44,488, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.

The number of deaths climbed to 5,15,459 with 104 fresh fatalities, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The active cases comprise 0.10 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate further improved to 98.70 per cent, the ministry said.

A reduction of 2,474 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours.
