Tunis, Tunisia: The 36th Carthage Film Festival was capped off on Saturday evening at the Opera Theatre of the City of Culture in Tunis.
The feature film The Stories was crowned winner of the Golden Tanit for feature-length fiction films, while the Silver Tanit went to the Nigerian film My Father's Shadow. The Jordanian film Sink secured the Bronze Tanit.
The judging panel awarded an Honorary Prize to the Tunisian film The Voice of Hind Rajab, with actress Saja Kilani taking home the Best Actress Award for her performance in the same film.
Meanwhile, the Tunisian film Where the Wind Takes Us claimed both the Best Screenplay Award and the Audience Award.
The Chadian film Diya earned the prizes for Best Music and Best Editing, while the Saudi film Hijra won Best Cinematography. The Best Actor Award was presented to Saudi actor Nawwaf Al Dhafiri.
