3,700 tonnes of local veggies marketed through 2 programmes in Feb

Locally produced vegetables marketed through the Premium Qatari Vegetables and Qatar Farms programmes amounted to around 3,700 tonnes in February, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment said. Of the total quantity, 453 tonnes were sold through the Premium Qatari Vegetables and 3,247 tonnes through Qatar Farms. This marked an increase of 29% for Premium Qatari Vegetables and 26% for Qatar Farms compared to the same period last year.
