23-year old arrested for sexually assaulting buffalo, its calf in Meerut

The accused has been booked under Section 377 and Section 11 (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960) of the Indian Penal Code. 

New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, a 23-year old man in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a buffalo and its calf. He was caught in the act by the buffalo owner Rumal Singh and was held after the owner lodged a complaint at Meerut's Jani village Police Station.  The accused, Sumit Singh, has been booked under Section 377 and Section 11 (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960) of the Indian Penal Code.   The complainant said that Sumit Singh continuously sexually assaulted his buffalo and its calf.
