15-year-old Thane girl, boyfriend held for her mother’s murder

A 40-year-old woman was murdered in Ulhasnagar. The police detained her daughter and her boyfriend for the woman’s murder. The duo allegedly hatched the plot as the woman was against their relationship.

A 15-year-old girl was detained and her 19-year-old friend arrested in connection with the murder of her mother in Ulhasnagar in Thane district has been arrested, police said on Monday. The 40-year-old woman had separated from her husband a few years back and stayed at Ulhasnagar camp with her daughter. She was found dead in the early hours of Sunday. The woman had multiple stab wounds and her face was disfigured.
