15 Unforgettable Looks at the Grammys 15 Unforgettable Looks at the Grammys

Painterly gowns, wedding dresses, nude body stockings and more.

The speculation leading up to the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday pertained not only to who would win trophies but also to how the spectacle would go over as the city was still reeling from two of the deadliest wildfires in California’s history.

Several industry parties were canceled. Other events, including a gala on Saturday night hosted by the record executive Clive Davis, and the Grammys ceremony itself, were adapted to account for the devastation. On the red carpet, music industry stars and other celebrities posed in front of a muted black backdrop featuring a call to donate to relief efforts. Though there were also a number of black ensembles, the fashion, for the most part, was less somber.

Rappers like Cardi B and Doechii flaunted figure-defining dresses and impossibly long nails. Others, like Bianca Censori, shocked viewers with what they didn’t wear: Ms. Censori, who made an appearance at the Grammys with Ye, her husband, had on little more than a sheer nude body stocking beneath her dark fur coat.

Hers is among the following 15 looks from the Grammys red carpet that, for better or worse, will be hard to forget.

The “Fortnight” singer’s carnelian-red Vivienne Westwood minidress, heeled sandals and jeweled garter had the razzle-dazzle of a certain “Chicago” character (and of Ms. Swift’s favorite lipstick color).
