Franklin Graham asks if Pelosi promised 10 Republicans 'pieces of silver' to betray Trump

Protestant evangelist and missionary Franklin Graham expressed outrage Thursday with the 10 House Republicans who joined Democrats this week in voting to impeach President Trump for a second time – and claimed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have swayed them.

In a separate post on Facebook, Graham developed the "betrayal" theme, likening the 10 Republicans to Judas Iscariot, the fallen disciple of Jesus Christ, whom the Bible says betrayed Christ in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. "It makes you wonder what the thirty pieces of silver were that Speaker Pelosi promised for this betrayal," Graham wrote.
