香港新一届立法会议员顺利产生

香港特别行政区第七届立法会选举投票于12月19日约23时顺利结束。这是完善选举制度后香港特区举行的首次立法会选举。

With voters casting their ballots at more than 600 polling stations, 90 lawmakers for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's seventh LegCo were elected from the Election Committee, geographical and functional constituencies. 选民在全港600多个投票站投完票后，香港特别行政区第七届立法会选举选委会界别、选举分区、功能团体界别共90个议席全部产生。

【知识点】

立法会（Legislative Council，LegCo）是香港特别行政区的立法机关，由选举产生。根据香港基本法，香港特区立法会行使的职权包括：根据香港基本法规定并依照法定程序制定、修改和废除法律（to enact, amend or repeal laws in accordance with the provisions of the Basic Law and legal procedures）；根据政府的提案，审核、通过财政预算（to examine and approve budgets introduced by the Government）；批准税收和公共开支（to approve taxation and public expenditure）；听取行政长官的施政报告并进行辩论（to receive and debate the policy addresses of the Chief Executive）等。

为落实“爱国者治港（patriots administering Hong Kong）”原则，确保“一国两制”实践行稳致远，中央“决定+修法”与特区“本地立法”于2021年共同完成香港选制修订。

根据全国人大常委会修订的《中华人民共和国香港特别行政区基本法附件二香港特别行政区立法会的产生办法和表决程序》，新一届香港特区立法会由90名议员组成，其中包括选举委员会选举的议员（members elected by the Election Committee constituency）40人、功能团体选举的议员（members elected by functional constituencies）30人和分区直接选举的议员（members elected by geographical constituencies）20人。

153名候选人竞选90个议席，每个议席均有竞争。

In the Election Committee constituency, 51 candidates vied for 40 seats, in the functional constituencies, 67 candidates contested for 30 seats, and in the geographical constituencies, 35 candidates competed for 20 seats.选举委员会选举中，51名候选人竞争40个席位；功能团体选举中，67名候选人竞争30个席位；分区直接选举中，35名候选人竞争20个席位。

特区政府财政司司长陈茂波、律政司司长郑若骅投票后表示，

The very diverse background of the candidates is conducive to making more diverse voices heard, so that the HKSAR government can better promote good governance for the overall interests of Hong Kong.此次立法会选举的候选人背景非常多元化，有利于将来政府施政时能够听到更多不同的声音，更好地从香港整体利益出发，推动良政善治。
