广东海关周三透露，尽管外部市场需求低迷，但今年上半年，广东省的出口达到了创纪录的2.55万亿元，同比增长3.6%。

It is the first time the province, the country's biggest foreign trader, reached more than 2.5 trillion yuan in export volume in six months, a statement from Guangdong Customs said.

The good export performance has helped Guangdong, a major production base for the world, achieve a foreign trade volume of 3.86 trillion yuan from January to June, a year-on-year reduction of 1.3 percent. The province recorded an import volume of 1.31 trillion yuan, down year-on-year by 9.6 percent.

作为世界主要生产基地的广东，出口表现良好，1—6月广东省外贸进出口3.86万亿元人民币，同比下降1.3%。全省进口1.31万亿元，同比下降9.6%。
