हैदरपोरा मुठभेड़: मारे गए नागरिकों के परिवारों ने प्रदर्शन किया, शव लौटाने की मांग

बीते 15 नवंबर को श्रीनगर के हैदरपोरा इलाके में आतंकियों से मुठभेड़ के दौरान दो संदिग्ध आतंकियों के साथ ही दो नागरिकों की भी मौत हुई थी. इनमें से एक व्यापारी मालिक मोहम्मद अल्ताफ़ भट और दूसरे दंत चिकित्सक डॉ. मुदसिर गुल शामिल हैं. पुलिस ने आतंकियों का सहयोगी बताते हुए दोनों लोगों के शवों को दफ़ना दिया है, जबकि परिजनों का कहना है कि वे आम नागरिक थे और उनके शवों का वापस करने की मांग की है.

मारे गए दो नागरिकों के बारे में परस्पर विरोधी दावों के बाद हैदरपुरा में बीते 15 नवंबर की मुठभेड़ को लेकर विवाद पैदा हो गया था, क्योंकि उनके परिवार के सदस्यों ने पुलिस के इस आरोप का विरोध किया था कि वे ‘आतंकवादियों के सहयोगी’ थे. He also sought LGs intervention in handing over bodies to their kin. LG has assured to look into the demands of victim families. I’ve rarely seen families who have been wronged conduct themselves with such dignity. They have been reasonable in their demands & dignified in their conduct. The result of this is visible for all to see as the police drags them away in the dead of night. To vilify them as militants or OGWs is bad enough but to take the bodies away & forcibly bury them in North Kashmir is a crime against humanity. The bodies must be returned to the families so they can be buried. It’s the only just thing & it’s the only humanitarian thing to do.

पुलिस महानिरीक्षक (कश्मीर रेंज) विजय कुमार ने दावा किया कि गुल आतंकवादियों के करीबी सहयोगी थे और भट के मालिकाना हक वाले शॉपिंग कॉम्प्लेक्स में कॉल सेंटर चला रहे थे. कुमार ने भट की मौत पर अफसोस जताया, लेकिन कहा कि उनका नाम आतंकवादियों को ‘पनाह देने वालों’ में गिना जाएगा.

भट और गुल के परिवारों ने बुधवार को श्रीनगर के प्रेस एन्क्लेव में पुलिस के उनके आतंकी होने के दावे का खंडन करते हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और मांग की कि उनके परिजन के शव उन्हें लौटाए जाएं, क्योंकि वे आतंकवादी नहीं थे. मोहम्मद आमिर के पिता लतीफ मगराय ने भी अपने बेटे के आतंकवादी होने के अधिकारियों के दावे को खारिज कर दिया.
