TCS To Develop Blockchain Ecosystem in Latin America; Stock Rallies Over 1%

Tata Consultancy Services has partnered with LACChain to develop a blockchain ecosystem across Latin America and Caribbean Islands. LACChain is an initiative led by IDB Lab, the innovation laboratory of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. At 10:25 am, TCS shares were trading at Rs 3,203.95, higher by Rs 45 or 1.45 per cent, on the BSE. "TCS will leverage its deep domain knowledge across industry verticals, technological expertise, and research and innovation to create a marketplace of blockchain solutions in healthcare, energy, education and financial services," TCS said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.
