SUNY professor outraged by social justice course requirement for graduation: 'We need to stand up'

Professor Nicholas Giordano calls out the "extremely divisive" new course requirement for 64 colleges in the State University of New York system.
"It's extremely divisive," Giordano said of the program set to begin in Fall 2023 for 64 state schools. "Higher education needs to recognize enrollment's down, companies are dropping degree requirements, and it's all through self-inflicted wounds like this." Elizabeth Heckman is a digital production assistant with Fox News.
Members of the SUNY Board of Trustees passed a resolution in November 2021 outlining the addition of several required courses, which included a new social justice category.
