Steelers’ DK Metcalf hospitalized after road win over Ravens due to stomach pains
NY Post
DK Metcalf’s visit to Baltimore took an unexpected detour Sunday.
The Steelers receiver, 27, was taken to the hospital following the team’s 27-22 road victory over the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium after “experiencing stomach pains,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday.
“Metcalf was experiencing stomach pains on the flight and out of an abundance of caution, team medical personnel sent him to a nearby hospital,” Rapoport posted on X, adding Metcalf “stayed overnight in a Baltimore hotel.”
Metcalf is expected to return to Pittsburgh on Monday.
News of Metcalf’s health scare came after he tallied a season-high 148 yards against Baltimore.
Pittsburgh, coming off a horrific showing against the Bills in Week 13 that had fans calling for coach Mike Tomlin’s job, claimed the top slot in the AFC North standings after Sunday’s win, which put the Steelers above .500 at 7-6.

The alliance between the Mara Family and the Tisch Family has, by and large, been the gold standard for all such partnership agreements. From the moment Wellington Mara and Robert Tisch entered into their 50-50 arrangement at the top of the Giants’ organizational flow chart on Feb. 21, 1991, this has been a model affiliation.
