West Bengal, on Saturday, logged 4,512 fresh COVID-19 cases, 1,061 more than the previous day. Kolkata alone reported 2,398 fresh cases.
As per the order, movement of people and vehicles as well as public gatherings has been prohibited between 10 pm to 5 am. Only essential and emergency services are allowed.
Swimming pools, spas, gyms, beauty parlours, saloons and wellness centres will remain shut. Entertainment parks, zoos, tourist places will be shut.
Schools, colleges, and universities will remain closed and only administrative activities is allowed with 50 per cent of employees at a time.
