India Omicron tally crosses 1,500-mark, Maharashtra tops with 460 cases

Of the total Omicron cases, 560 patients have recovered from the new variant of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.
Of the total cases, 560 patients have recovered from Omicron, the health ministry said. Maharashtra tops the states and Union Territories with the maximum number of Omicron cases. The state has reported 460 cases so far of which 180 have recovered.
Delhi follows Maharashtra with the most number of Omicron cases. The capital till date have reported 351 Omicron cases of which 294 are active patients and are undergoing treatment.
Gujarat has reported 136 cases till now of which only 69 have recovered. Tamil Nadu has registered 117 cases of which 43 are undergoing treatment.
