GitHub blocks 'Bulli Bai' after journo alleges 'insult' to Muslim women

An FIR under section 509 in Cyber Police station of South East district. It comes merely six months after Delhi police lodged case in connection with photos of Muslim women being uploaded and "auctioned" on Github app.
The journalist took to Twitter and said it was “very sad that as a Muslim woman you have to start your new year with this sense of fear and disgust.”
Delhi Police said an FIR under section 509 in Cyber Police station of South East district. It comes merely six months after police in the capital lodged case in connection with photos of Muslim women being uploaded and "auctioned" on a Github app.
In the complaint the woman alleged that her photo was uploaded on a website to target her. The complainant said she was seeking immediate registration of FIR and immediate investigation against unknown people who are seeking to harass and insult Muslim women on social media and the internet.
