California schools suspend library app after 2nd graders access books featuring rape, explicit language

A California school system was forced to suspend a library app that allowed second graders to access books featuring explicit language and one that included a rape.
He insisted that virtual libraries "must have the proper safeguards in place to allow parents to choose what they feel is appropriate for their child and ensure students are protected from content that is not age-appropriate." Taylor Penley is a production assistant with Fox News.
He added that the school system can't "allow access to material that is inappropriate for each child’s grade level."
