BSF exchanges sweets with Bangladesh security personnels on Eid-ul-Fitr

Border Security Force (BSF) 51 battalion exchanged sweet with 18 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Eid-ul-Fitr, at Panchagarh at Fulbari, Indo-Bangladesh border earlier today.

New Delhi: Border Security Force (BSF) 51 battalion exchanged sweet with 18 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Eid-ul-Fitr, at Panchagarh at Fulbari, Indo-Bangladesh border earlier today. Meanwhile, Eid was celebrated with fervour all over the region including border areas, with Muslims offering Eid prayers in mosques. Similarly Indian and Pakistan armies, on Thursday, exchanged sweets at Poonch-Rawlakot and Mendhar-Hotspring check posts, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Thus the tradition of exchanging sweets between India and Pakistan on major festivals like Eid, Holi, Diwali, and others was revived.
