Anupam Kher on Saturday donated oxygen concentrators and BiPAP machines to BMC for relief work during the health crisis.
The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared the news along with photos and videos of the donations. In the caption he wrote, "We at #ProjectHealIndia & #AnupamKherFoundation were humbled to make a small contribution of 5 Resmed #Bipap machines and 5 #OxygenConcentrators to @my_bmc for their selfless #CoronaWarriors!! @anupamkherfoundation @AshTewariMD @BharatForgeLtd #DoingOurBit #StayStrongIndia." For the unversed, Kher's foundation, called the Anupam Kher Foundation, partnered up with Ashutosh Tewari (Global Cancer Foundation, USA) and Baba Kalyani (Bharat Forge, India), for a new project called "Project Heal India". Through this initiative, the organisations will provide critical equipment and other life supporting devices to needy institutions and hospitals across India. Apart from Kher, many other celebrities have also been involved in helping in the battle against covid-19. Some have been amplifying requests of oxygen, medicines and hospital beds and plasma being posted countrywide. Some have also raised funds and donated to help ‘warriors’ fight the pandemic.More Related News
