Coronavirus is bringing two old enemies closer together

Tokyo (CNN)"Even though we live in different places, we live under the same sky," read the stanza on the sides of boxes filled with face masks and thermometers sent to China from the Japan Youth Development Association (JYDA).Over 1,300 years ago, a grandson of the Japanese emperor sent that ancient poem to a high-ranking Chinese monk called Ganjin.
