Drunk bozo tries to eat mobile phone on plane, forces emergency landing

This is probably not what they mean by putting a cellphone in “airplane mode.” A drunk UK passenger is facing jail time after attempting to eat his smartphone mid-flight, prompting the plane to make an emergency landing. The incident occurred in January 2019, but the culprit was only charged with the crime on Monday.
