Amazon’s ad business is skyrocketing compared to its competitors

Amazon’s booming ad business is on track to surge by more than 50 percent this year, while Google’s and Facebook’s share has hit a wall, according to a new report. The online behemoth is still a distant third when it comes to selling digital ads, controlling 6.8 percent of the market compared with Google’s 38.2 percent and Facebook’s 21.8 percent, according to eMarketer.
