Stephen Colbert rips Ralph Northam over racist yearbook photos

“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert didn’t pull any punches while discussing Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s racist yearbook scandal on Monday night. “Which is worse?” Colbert asked during his opening monologue, before breaking out an impression of Northam apologizing. “Uh, I was definitely in the [KKK] hood, which is why you can’t see how mad I was at that other guy for wearing blackface,” Colbert said, mocking Northam with an over-exaggerated Southern accent. “If I didn’t have that hood on you would’ve seen I was so steamed at him!” Monday’s episode of the “Late Show” was Colbert’s first real chance to get some swings in on Northam following the widespread reports of his medical school yearbook scandal ...
