Jets release Kelechi Osemele in feud that’s far from over

In the latest twist in their ongoing feud, the Jets on Saturday cut offensive guard Kelechi Osemele. The team announced the move after Osemele had surgery Friday, against the Jets wishes, on his torn right labrum. Osemele’s agent, Andrew Kessler, told ESPN the damage to his clients shoulder was more extensive than anticipated and accused the Jets team doctor for violating an unspecified State Medical Board Regulations. Jets coach Adam Gase and GM Joe Douglas have remained quiet on the matter, likely because of the legal fight that could ensue.
