Brexit: EU and UK reach deal but DUP refuses support

A Brexit deal has been agreed between the UK and EU before a meeting of European leaders in Brussels. Boris Johnson and Jean-Claude Juncker hailed it as a "fair" outcome, at a joint press conference.The prime minister now faces a battle to get it through Parliament with former allies the DUP saying they will not back it.He urged MPs to "come together to get Brexit done and get this excellent deal over the line".Mr Juncker, the European Commission President, said he was looking forward to starting work on a new post-Brexit partnership with the UK on 1 November - the day after the UK is due to leave.Mr Johnson said: "Now is the moment for us to get Brexit done and then together work to build our future partnership."The two sides work ...
